It was a couple of years after I started my own photography business that I was reminded of my childhood dream of writing. I thought I would give it a try and I am loving every minute of it! I have also become quite ambitious!
I have published articles for Yahoo! Voices, Yahoo! Contributor Network and Helium. I have performed ghostwriting and sold articles to clients through Textbroker. I have accounts on Odesk, Elance and Peopleperhour; however, I prefer to work with clients directly, in lieu of content mills.

I have goals to get a few Ebooks established and published. My ultimate goal is to write a novel. Just the thought makes me completely excited. If you think I haven't already started, think again! :) I am in love with the idea of writing about passionate romance and drama (fiction, of course). But I am open to branch out on any creative path!
Writing is a niche that I have always been good at. However, I always considered it to be one of those "celebrity" careers, somehow unattainable except for the minute and talented few.
Outside of writing, I love to run and workout. Who knew I would actually say that. Of course there are days that I hate it and want it to be over. But once the moment that you are done has passed; the feeling of accomplishment outweighs any negative thought going into it.
I have even went through the lengths of hiring a personal trainer. Since January 1, 2013, I have lost a total of 25 pounds! I hope to be able to write more fitness articles in the future. Maybe one day, I might even be able to do a little bit of personal training myself. There's that ambitious side coming out. ツ
I am 36, with the energy of a 24 year old! I have been married for over 10 years and I have a beautiful 12 year old daughter; whom I would be lost without.
She is growing up faster than I can keep up with! At a recent doctor's visit, we were told she will probably be at the 5'8" or 5'9" height! Okay, I am only 5'5"! I never imagined my daughter to one day be towering over me. I have a lot to look forward to during her teenage years!
I started home-educating my daughter a few years ago. It was a challenge at first; but I have learned so much. I really thought she and I would butt heads at first, and occasionally we have our moments. But generally, we both love having flexible schedules and knowing that I am in charge of what she is learning, how she is learning, and able to help her and be patient with her since she also has ADHD.
My other love is my gorgeous pug, Maggie! Yes folks, she is gorgeous! She will be 10 years old August 30th!
I probably worry more than I should, but Maggie's moms passed away when she was 9 from a brain tumor. Although she has not had any "signs", I'm hoping it isn't genetic. I want her to live a beautiful life as long as "doggedly" possible!
